Abstract

Soit $K$ un corps complet pour une valuation non-archimédienne. Soit $X / K$ une courbe de Mumford, i.e. les composantes irréductibles de la réduction stable de $X$ sont du genre 0. On construit les revêtements étales abéliens de $X$ à l’aide de l’uniformisation analytique $Ω \to X$ et des fonctions thêta sur $X$ . Pour un corps local $K$ on retrouve la description de G. Frey de l’extension abélienne, non-ramifiée, maximale du corps des fonctions rationnelles sur $X$ .

Let the field $K$ be complete w.r.t. a non-archimedean valuation. Let $X / K$ be a Mumford curve, i.e. the irreducible components of the stable reduction of $X$ have genus 0. The abelian etale coverings of $X$ are constructed using the analytic uniformization $Ω \to X$ and the theta-functions on $X$ . For a local field $K$ one rediscovers $G$ . Frey’s description of the maximal abelian unramified extension of the field of rational functions of $X$ .
