Marking proof-sheets in publishing practice and its implementation in the TeX system

Cet article traite des façons de marquer les épreuves dans la pratique éditoriale. Quatre solutions sont présentées et discutées. Trois d’entre elles reposent sur des macros existantes (mise en page \headings), ou des extensions packages (fancyhdr.sty, zwpagelayout.sty). La quatrième est nouvelle, elle est fournie par une nouvelle extension pour LaTeX — thproof.sty.

This paper deals with ways of marking proof-sheets in publishing practice. Four possible solutions are shown and discussed. Three of them are based on existing macros (page style \headings), or packages (fancyhdr.sty, zwpagelayout.sty), the fourth one is original and specific, and contains new style for LaTeX — thproof.sty.
