TeX est traditionnellement exécuté comme un simple programme. Pourtant, TeX peut aussi être exécuté comme un démon et être appelé comme une fonction par une interface. Cet article décrit les perspectives et problèmes découlant de cette nouvelle méthode d’utilisation de TeX.

Traditionally, TeX is run as a batch program. However, TeX can also be run as a daemon, with a callable function interface. This talk describes the opportunities and problems that follow from this new way using TeX.
